Raphaëlle PERIA

Born in 1989 in Amiens, France. Lives and works in Paris.

Raphaëlle Peria uses the image as a support to carry out a work of the order of the drawing. For the past few years, she has been developing a scratching technique that she uses to reveal new forms and elements of the photograph that are most evocative of the subject she is approaching. Landscapes, natural elements and ecosystems are at the heart of her artistic approach and are the starting points for her travels.

By scratching, she lets the white appear. This technique by withdrawal summons the memory of the presence of living beings and elements that inhabit natural environments.
